Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Gregory W. Meeks, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the schedule for the month of November.

Events that are not closed to the public will be accessible via the Committee’s website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube page. All Committee events are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • November 15 at 9:00 a.m., ET: The Committee will convene its members for a closed briefing on Ukraine. 

  • November 15 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “Examining U.S. Foreign Assistance to Address the Root Causes of Instability and Conflict in Africa.” 

  • November 15 at 12:00 p.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment and Cyber will convene its members for a virtual public briefing on Hungary. 

  • November 16 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment and Cyber will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “Russia's Waning Global Influence.” 

  • November 17 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Committee will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “Assessing the Biden Administration’s U.S. Strategy Toward Sub-Saharan Africa.” 

  • November 30 at 9:30 a.m., ET: The Committee will convene its members for a virtual public briefing on Russian filtration operations in Ukraine.
