Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Gregory W. Meeks, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the schedule for the month of June.

  • June 8 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia, and Nonproliferation will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “Resourcing U.S. Priorities in the Indo-Pacific FY23 Budget.”
  • June 8 at 1:00 p.m., ET:  The Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment, and Cyber will convene its members for a closed briefing on Russian cyber threats.
  • June 8 at 2:00 p.m., ET: The Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations and Global Corporate Social Impact will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “The FY23 Budget Request: United Nations and International Organizations.”
  • June 14 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Committee will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “The Administration’s FY23 Budget Request for the Peace Corps, Development Finance Corporation, and Millennium Challenge Corporation.”
  • June 15 at 1:00 p.m., ET: The Committee will convene its members for a closed briefing on Somalia.
  • June 16 at 9:00 a.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment and Cyber will convene its members for a virtual hearing entitled, “U.S. Efforts to Support European Energy Security.”
  • June 22 at 10:00 a.m., ET: The Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations and Global Corporate Social Impact & the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, Migration, Civilian Security and International Economic Policy will convene their members for a joint hybrid hearing entitled, “Private Sector Investment in Central America: Analyzing its Impact on Root Causes of Migration.”
  • June 22 at 2:00 p.m., ET: The Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Global Counterterrorism will convene its members for a hybrid hearing entitled, “Examining the U.S. Interest in Regional Security Cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa: Opportunities, Obstacles, and Objectives.”
  • June 29 at 12:00 p.m., ET: The Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment and Cyber will convene its members for a virtual hearing entitled, “Global Efforts to Encourage a Sustainable Blue Economy."
