Washington, DC -- Representative Gregory W. Meeks, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, welcomed three new Democrats to the Committee: Representatives Debbie Wasserman Schultz, assigned to the Oversight and Intelligence Subcommittee; Mark Pocan, assigned to the Africa Subcommittee; and Wesley Bell, assigned to the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee.

Meeks also announced new subcommittee leadership assignments: Representative Jared Moskowitz will serve as Ranking Member of the Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, and Representative Jonathan L. Jackson will succeed Moskowitz as Ranking Member of the Oversight and Intelligence Subcommittee.
