Washington, DC – Congressman Howard L. Berman, Ranking Democrat on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, announced today that Gabby Adler will be serving as the Communications Director for the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Adler will also act as the Communications Director in Berman’s Congressional office serving California’s 28th Congressional District.

Gabby Adler previously served as the Midwestern Regional Press Secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). In that position she acted as the DCCC’s on-the-record spokesperson in twelve Midwestern states. Adler was responsible for developing strategic communications plans, advising candidates, and securing earned media coverage for campaigns across the region throughout the 2010 election cycle.
Prior to joining the DCCC, Adler served as Communications Director for Congressman Dave Loebsack of Iowa. Adler also previously worked at the Caraway Group, a Public Relations firm based in Washington, D.C. and for Senator John Kerry’s 2004 Presidential campaign.
