Washington, DC – Congressman Howard L. Berman, Ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, today announced subcommittee ranking Democrats and subcommittee assignments for the 112th Congress. Democratic members selected their assignments one day earlier during an organizing meeting, and today assignments were confirmed and formalized by the full committee.

“I want to welcome all of the new members to the House Foreign Affairs Committee and applaud our returning members, including the seven subcommittee ranking members,” said Berman. “Each and every one of these members is committed to pursuing sensible policies that advance America’s interests around the world, and I look forward to working with all of them.”
